Last night saw a host of glamorous guests descend upon Lancaster House for the Royal Rickshaw Auction. Hosted by Quintessentially Foundation and Elephant Family, and supported by Selfridges, the live auction raised over £700,000 for the ‘Travels to My Elephant’ conservation campaign.

Twenty beautiful rickshaws, designed by leading artists, fashion houses and milliners, and a 10 foot model Elephant named Tara, gifted by Maclaren, were auctioned by Sotheby’s in the sublime setting of the gardens of Lancaster House.

Guests including HRH Princess Eugenie, Bianca Jagger, Arki Busson, Natalie Imbruglia and Jade Parfiit, mingled in the sunshine and enjoyed music by vintage swing band Elle and the Pocket Belles.

We would like to thank all those who helped make ‘Travels to my Elephant’ Royal Rickshaw auction possible and such a success.
